Definitely that is what people in business do ,if they have any ambition.
Expand, grow make more money, hire new people new products, it is the special "rush" that you get from building something from nothing
creating a business is an art expression , taking some of this and some of that add hard work and create a functioning entity which helps support people makes all involved have better lives
That has always been my motivation if it was just about getting rich i would have worked for corporate america. IBM ,General Instruments, etc They would have loved me in their executive training programs, I had many offers during my life

give a big business 3000 dollars and theyll piss it away. Give my tiny little business 3000 dollars and I will spend it on hiring someone, probably part time, for the next few months.

The opposition feels that a tax break for hiring employees is pointless. Getting $3,000 back for spending 30.40.50 thousand or whatever the cost of that employee per year doesn't seem to make that much of a difference. Is a company going to hire more people because of such a tax break? From what I understand, it has nothing to do with maintaining current employees, something which I'm sure would benefit many businesses (but at the same time isn't feasible). Correct me if I'm wrong, but are you, or any other business going to hire another employee, even if sales are low, because you'll get $3,000 back from taxes?
If nothing else, small businesses, in my experience at least, are much more likely to keep their employees because of the intimate relationship people have within such a company. And because of this, $3,000 isn't going to make or break that relationship. If those people have been laid off, if all of these jobs have been lost, this hardly seems like a breaking point to stimulate anything. I guess it will help companies that are already on the rise and are hiring anyway, but is that really the point? Evolution says that the strong get stronger, and the weak die off. True. But in business, that leaves you with giant corporations, monopolies, and the complete loss of intimate small businesses, the very people which, having read this blog, you seem to be supporting.
