I am writing a great story about a tribe of North American natives fighting an invading tribe from Asia, 8000 years ago

Fun

There are several things that I would consider doing:
#1, Declare a withholding tax holiday for 2 or 3 months that would immediately put 35% additional money in every working persons paycheck
Instead of bailing out i would let the auto and bank industry declare chapter 11 bankrupcy this allows them to stay in business but forces them to reorganize, renegotiate with union contracts, place large debts in a payment plan
Instead of bailing out banks with cash i would set up a mortgage guarantee company and fund this directly to make mortgage loans, car loans, student loans etc. then I would let this new lender guarantee the failed mortgages(charge a fee) and give home owners time to pay what they can afford and hold on to their homes until real estate values go up again making the houses saleable.

I have 100's of other ideas elect me and I will reveal all
This stimulus package is a bunch of pork payoffs and you are right this price will be paid by my children, grand children and great great grand children waste of time and money and it won't work we will be worse off next year and the year after and much more in debt and strangled unde a much larger government telling us what to do and not do freedom first

First off, let's just get it clear that "Nothing is being done for the small business, or the new entreprenure" is quite false. SOME things are being done, whether you are in favor or whether they are enough may be in question, but some things are being done.

Secondly, I feel it necessary to state that I don't like the idea of spending ANOTHER trillion dollars to stimulate the economy. As if that first trillion (ok, 700 billion or so?) helped so much. But me, my brothers and my friends and all of those before and after us will be paying this off for the rest of our lives, and i naturally don't like that. Did you know that the only time the U.S. government has not been in debt was during Andrew Jackson's presidency? Interesting fact.

Anyway, I have a very important question. There was once a campaign for Charlie Champion for president. If Charlie Champion were president now, what would he do in Obama's stead? It's not even so much that I disagree, but I want to open a discussion. You disagree with Obama, and you have several things to say against what's going on, but what is the alternative? One great strength of Obama's is that he is willing to take counsel and advice from other people, knowing full well that he can't possibly be on top of everything personally. He's getting advice from the top people in the nation, and some of it is even bipartisan advice, and these are the ideas he is coming up with. It's so easy to criticize, but what I want in my criticism, whether it be personal, artistic or political, is constructive criticism. Tell me what I'm doing wrong, and maybe I'll stop, maybe not. Tell me what I'm doing wrong, and tell me how to do it right, and I have no reason not to listen.
