Hi. I’m Charlie Champion and I am coming to you as a write in candidate for President.
I have chosen to run as a write in candidate for President because I have grown to distrust out political system.
It feels like there is a very sneaky , subversive agenda being fostered on the American public.
The Socialization of our society is in full swing, robbing the individual of incentive to achieve and create.
With the development of International corporations, and the globalization of wealth and production, our leaders, both Republicrats and Demopublicans have been leading us on a long sloping path towards a One world economy.
Out sourcing, open borders, NAFTA, CAFTA, the elimination of duty on many imports, the clues are everywhere.. The money funding so many of our politicians and their political campaigns appears to pour in from foreign sources.
Our major industries are being nationalized. The banks, the Auto manufacturers, now they are after health care .
The ascendancy of socialism has empowered the labor unions, and their loyalty transcends borders.
If not a world economy, then certainly a North American Union, possibly Western Hemisphere.
International corporations survive and prosper but how about us?
Natural resources from Canada, manufacturing with cheap labor in Mexico or Central America is great for corporate profits and wealthy CEO’s, but what happens to your Everyman USA citizens? What do we get out of a World wide economy?
Nothing good!!! Very little is manufactured here anymore. We are being turned into a nation of working drones ..Our freedoms are being eroded, and our living standards are dropping , while World leadership and World Economic Emperors of Industry get richer and more powerful.
Unemployment is growing, our home values are crashing, yet our leaders point to an artificially inflated Stock Market as a sign that all is getting better .
The best Nation in history is being taken away from us.
We are being turned into a Nation of slaves many working from paycheck to paycheck. We are becoming mindless workers!
I DON’T THINK SO!!! I’m no DRONE!!!!
I’m mad as Hell at what I see coming !! Enough is enough.

I think one day, with the invention of the replicator and phasers, we will have a global economy/government, and it will be awesome. Either technology will bring it on, or the alien invasion will bring it on. Either way, maybe we should embrace the positive aspects of that.
When we have replicators and other technological fantasies such as the ability to beam ourselves from one place to another, the dynamics of society and the struggle for survival will be very different
Well of course…but from a personal perspective, why wait for the outside forces to bring us together? I was half kidding as I’m sure you could tell, but the world will go in this direction whether you want it to or not. The only way to stop it is to continue to exploit those who can’t defend themselves against us. However, as those people (china, india, etc etc) gain more economic and political strength, the best thing to do, in my opinion, is to embrace it, and find your path in a new world where we as Americans will only succeed if we earn that right with better products, advanced technology and more efficient ways of doing things.
At the same time, it is also important to remember that we are all people, whether Spanish, Japanese or Zimbabwean, and the time of exploitation in this global economy can’t last much longer. Replicators and phasers may be a thing of the future, but the ideas of a peaceful existence with a global economy only needs a handful of people to step forward and agree to a discourse of mutual respect.
China India Brazil etc are already becoming the new world powers, China holds more of our Government bonds than any other country and they are in a position to push us, not to be pushed. The world as a place of freedom is great, a world of repressive dictators is no acceptable
when the world becomes free, then I am all for equality of proples

China also has over a billion people, vs our 300 million. I’m amazed we have maintained the power we have for this long.
You know, I was thinking about this today for some reason. We have some 50,000 troops stationed in Germany. Whether that’s leftover from a post ww2/cold war era, or if it’s still a strategic position, I’m not sure. But that thought alone led me to think about ww2 itself, in which a nation of…1/3 to 1/4 of our population if not fewer at the time, was able to make such a major push and almost take over the entire western world. Sure they had Italy and Japan on their side, but we had Britain, what was left of France, and Russia, as well as Canada (if you can count them : P ) Australia, and several others to a lesser degree.
Now imagine a world in which a nation with 3 times our resources…
No, not even. We had a cold war with Russia. Imagine a nation bigger than them at war with us. China doesn’t even need to fight us. Their sheer numbers, along with our poor choices, huge debt and diminishing prominence in technology will let them beat us out sooner rather than later. I read a headline recently that said it was the century of China’s dominance. I believe it. I do what I can to avoid it…but I believe it.
