Do not believe the Wall Street rally

Wednesday, September 10th, 2008

My dear friends,

I have told you a number of times during the past 10-11 months, ” do not believe the short term  rallies in the market.”

The economy is in bad shape, and still needs another 8-14 months to bottom out.

When I say bottom out, the last part of this shakeout will be the worst part. As a people we Americans are very adaptable, and have a short memory.

They have gotten us used to a lower standard of living. Gas at 3.75 a gallon is better than 4.25, but still better part of .80-.90 higher than last year.

We are told to drive less, to carpool, and to stock up on sweaters for the winter.  …And  we do it, setling into a less comfortable standard of living.

We are told the rest of the World will love us again if me freeze in the winter, sweat in the Summer,  eat less , and stock up on foods that are generic, and cheaper, meanwhile less fresh and healthy.

I don’t want to be cold in the winter. I don’t like bulky sweaters. I’ve worked all my life and feel that i’ve earned the right to wear what I want, and heat and air condition my surroundings any way that I choose.

Sell this bill of goods to someone else.

Beware the Market, especially if the Tax and spend party wins, and does its thing.

Sarah Palin is a Sexy Choice for the G O P

Saturday, August 30th, 2008

There is obviously some controversy concerning Senator McCains selection of Governor Sarah Palin as his V P running mate.

True, there are some negatives in her selection. She’s young. Almost 2 years younger than Senator Obama.

She’s only had 2 years as a chief executive . Oh yes, that’s 2 years more than Obama. Etc,Etc.

HOWEVER, She brings something to the table that is priceless .

We are excited about her.Good and Bad…She’s not just another Washington insider. She’s another very real part of the American Dream. She’s the old fashioned ,”girl next door” and people are talking about her, and watching the news, and talking to each other about the yeas and neas.

What her selection has accomplished is regeneration. The McCain campaign has been energized. There is actually a sense of excitement about the upcoming Republican convention.

Yes,  I’ll say it….Her selection was sexy. No, not in a salatious way, although she will be the prettiest Vice President in  History. Sexy by  creating excitement anticipation and possibly a push back to moral America. The land that we seem to have misplaced.

Political Check mate

Friday, August 29th, 2008

John McCain , in my opinion, has made a very clever choice as his Vice Presidential running mate.

He has chosen a 44 year old woman, Governor Palin of Alaska. She is  spunky, attractive, a certified maverick, and a social conservative, with a strong anti abortion stance.

With this choice, McCain has successfully negated the  novelty surrounding Senator Obama as the first black man running for President. The young woman, balances the young black man, so now let the issues prevail .

Brilliant move. The facts prevail, the novelties cancel each other out , and the real issues and the substance of our future can be examined in real time

The Case of the missing Clintons

Friday, August 29th, 2008

I watched the Obama acceptance speech, and was impressed by his oratory skills.

When he thankeitedd Hillary for all She had done for women’s cause, I waited to see Hillary’s reaction. ..She wasn’t there.

When he thanked President Bill Clinton for his spirited speech the night before, I watched to see Bill’s reaction….He wasn’t there.

Very wierd. Why were the Clintons  absent?

If they were there, why weren’t they at least acknowledged?

Very strange.

The case of the absent Clinton family. Not even Chelsea.

Great Speech, Now where’s the Beef?

Friday, August 29th, 2008

Senator Obama is a great orator.  He can say something, believe it, and make it real, in his own mind.

That type of person is very powerful, and very dangerous. The reality that they see, and project, becomes true, because they will it and believe it.However, believing while very imspirational does not make it true.

To want something to be true. To trick your mind into seeing it as the truth, is very inspirational, but actually implimenting some action to make it true is a whole other function.

I believe in fairy tales, happy endings, and castles in the sky, but if I want to live in that castle, I better  begin to build a staircase, and a substance to my dreams, or get myseld a good parachute.

Dreams are vitally important, but G-d gave us free will , brains, and a movable thumb to implement those fantasies. It works. But needs some practical ,concrete planning in addition to the fluff and the visions.

Again I say to Senator Obama, YOUR WORDS ARE GREAT, AND VERY INSPIRATIONAL, BUT………” Where’s the beef?”

Show me how you are going to do what you say and you will have a convert.  So far I hear and read a lot of rhetoric, bot NO SUBSTANCE AT ALL.

The value of Biden as V P running mate

Wednesday, August 27th, 2008

I have been listening to all the Democratic spin doctors, portray Biden as a great choice as a balance to Senator Obama.

He brings experience, Foreign Affairs expertise, fiscal experience, and general  practical knowledge to the Obama ticket.

WHAT!!!!

Stop me if I’m wrong. Isn’t that the biggest insult and condemnation of  Obama’s candidacy, possible? If he’s lacking all of those qualities, what the heck is he doing trying to be president. What a joke. If Biden has all those great attributes, why is he the Vice President, He should be at the top of the ticket.

This election is bad and worse. How messed up. At a critical life and death junction in the future of Western Civilization, we are dealing with such dysfunctional and weak options.  McCain is the big winner, but sadly, by lack of other options.

Big tax increases will strangle small business

Tuesday, August 26th, 2008

When the economy is falling into a recession/ stagflation,  government becomes increasingly desperate for tax revenues.

This desperation comes at the worst possible time for small businesses, which suffer the same scarcity of funds.

Increased spending by the Ferderal Government in the wake of a change in  the party controlling the White House and the Congress, will spell a financial yoke that will drag down a great many small and medium businesses.

If Obama wins, he has promised billions in new spending on social welfare programs and universal health care. Where is this money going to come from ?

The State and Federal Governments are scrambling for money at this level. Add a few hundred billion in new programs, and the printing presses will be working overtime to print new money.

The inflation which this will engender , will be even more painful that the spreading recession, resulting in my recurring economic nightmare  scenario…Stagflation. The 2 ton Gorilla with the nasty attitude.

NBC News, not biased either?????

Now NBC/WSJ Poll puts Obama up by 3 points, but  no mention of the Obama behind by 5 points poll, but they don’t miss a chance to list a litany of McCain faults and weaknesses, but Obama was on vacation, so McCainb had the media to himself…HORSEFEATHERS !!

How about …I’d settle for a 70- 30 split in equality.

I feel the critical issues in this election are watershed.

A move back to a world of good and evil. A world where it is O K to get chills when you hear the Star Spangled Banner..

A world where at T V reporter,Chris Collingsworth, would not DARE to try to embarass a huge star like Kobe Bryant, at the Olympics, for expressing a love of and pride in America

I’m no right wing nut job.  in fact on most social issues I’m middle to slightly left, but on the life and death issues which are putting MY COUNTRY at serious risk.. No compromise. NONE !!!!       I love this country , I would be willing to die for my country,  I feel that this is the last greatest hope for Civilization for generations.      You/ want to comprfomise Her,  I will line up in front of you.

One World Economy, Whose World Will it Be?

Thursday, July 17th, 2008

                                                              by

                                                     Charlie Champion

Hi. My name is Charlie Champion, and I’m running for President of the United States,

As a write in candidate.

I have chosen this unorthodox method   for getting elected, because I no longer trust our political system.

It feels like there is a very sneaky , subversive  agenda  being fostered on the American public.

With the development of International corporations, and  globalization of  wealth production,  our leaders, both Republicrats and Demopublicans  have been leading us on a long sloping path towards One world economy.

Out sourcing, open borders, NAFTA, CAFTA, the elimination of duty on many imports, the clues are everywhere.. The money funding so many of our politicians   and their political campaigns appears to pour in from foreign sources.

If not a world economy, then certainly a North American Union, possibly Western Hemisphere. This is all well and good for our powerful mega industrialists and their World Political partners/puppets, but how about us?

Natural resources from Canada, manufacturing with cheap labor in Mexico or Central America is great for corporate profits and wealthy  CEO’s, but what happens to  your Everyman USA citizens? What does this mega World  economic system do for us?

Nothing good!!!  Very little is manufactured here anymore. We are being turned into a nation of  working drones ..Our freedoms are being eroded, and  our living standards are dropping , while   World leadership and World Economic Emperors of Industry get richer and more powerful.

The best Nation in history is being taken away from us.

We are being turned into a Nation of  slaves many working from paycheck to paycheck. Not much better than Drones!

     I DON’T THINK SO!!! I’m no DRONE!!!!

I’m mad as Hell at what I see coming !! And I don’t want to take it anymore.

Elect Charlie Champion President . He’ll put an end to this insidious plot.
